Hope All Natural Beef Customer FAQs

WHAT DOES ALL NATURAL MEAN?

The USDA defines all natural meat as meat that contains no artificial ingredients and is minimally processed. At Videri however, we hold Hope All Natural Beef to a higher standard. Our cattle are:

  • Given no antibiotics ever.
  • Given no steroids or growth hormones.
  • Grass fed and grain finished.
  • Fed a 100% vegetarian diet.

WHAT DOES CHOICE OR HIGHER MEAN?

  • Prime and Choice are the two highest USDA quality grade standards for beef. This designation is based upon the amount and quality of fat marbling to lean ratio in the meat and the age of the animal.
  • Prime and Choice graded beef rank as higher quality than Select, Standard, and Commercial grades.
  • Select, Standard and Commercial grade beef are what are most frequently found on supermarket shelves.
  • Hope All Natural Beef is always USDA graded as Choice or higher. So you can rest assured that you are getting amazing quality beef.

WHERE DOES HOPE ALL NATURAL BEEF COME FROM?

  • All cattle are source verified as being born, raised, and processed exclusively in the U.S.A. 
  • Most of the cattle are born and raised in the American Midwest, Central Plains, Southern Plains and Western Mountain States.
  • Families who raise the cattle adhere to Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) practices and industry care standards to ensure animals are well cared for during every stage of their lives.

WHAT MAKES HOPE ALL NATURAL BEEF SO FLAVORFUL AND JUICY?

  • Our beef is hand selected from genetics that are well known for their marbling ability, taste, flavor, and consistent palatability. 
  • We do not allow any Brahman or Dairy influenced cattle into our program.
  • All of our cattle are less than 30 months of age at processing which helps our beef maintain the desired beef flavor, tenderness, and consistency.

HOW LONG CAN I KEEP MY BEEF FROZEN AND IT STILL BE GOOD TO EAT?

USDA Food Safety Guidelines state that beef kept frozen at 0°F or below will last indefinitely. However, for best taste and quality we recommend you store frozen beef in the freezer no more than 12 months.

WHY IS HOPE ALL NATURAL BEEF SO AFFORDABLE?

  • Minimizing overhead and operating costs with a direct to consumer model.
  • Never paying shareholders.
  • Selling in bulk.

HOW DOES HOPE ALL NATURAL BEEF HELP ORPHANS?

  • 100% of Videri Operations Inc.’s net profits are pledged to global orphan care initiatives.
  • Our Orphan Care Board oversees our 501(c)(3) non-profit which works in conjunction with credible partner organizations to put those funds to use globally.  (link to Beef Charity page). 

HOW IS BEEF PACKAGED FOR SHIPPING?

  • Each cut is individually vacuum sealed and labeled with cut name and packaged date.
  • Vacuum sealed cuts are packaged with dry ice in an insulated cardboard box for shipping.
  • DRY ICE: For your safety, please wear insulated gloves to dispose of any remaining dry ice.

HOW HEAVY IS EACH PACKAGE?

  • Each shipped Hope Bundle weighs approximately 68lbs.
  • HEAVY PACKAGE: For your safety, we recommend opening the package on your doorstep and carrying smaller packages to the freezer one at a time.

IS THE BEEF SHIPPED FROZEN?

  • Beef is shipped frozen and should arrive frozen at your door.
  • You should transfer frozen beef to the freezer immediately.
  • Package should sit at your door no longer than 8 hours before you transfer to the freezer.

HOW MUCH ROOM DO I NEED IN MY FREEZER?

  • One Hope Bundle will easily fit in a standard kitchen freezer.
  • One Hope Bundle measures about 20”x12”x10”, or 2,400 cubic inches, or 1.4 cubic feet.  

CAN I SPECIFY THE DAY OF ARRIVAL?

  • TBD

CAN I TRACK MY SHIPMENT?

  • When your package ships, UPS will email you a tracking number.

IS MY SIGNATURE REQUIRED FOR DELIVERY?

  • No. When purchasing beef, you must agree to delivery without signature.

IS THERE AN AUTO-SHIP OPTION?

  • TBD

WHAT IF PRODUCT IS DAMAGED?

  • We are confident you will receive your Hope Bundle frozen and in good condition. If for any reason you believe your shipment is damaged, or beef is delivered unfrozen, then please take pictures of the damaged product and contact us immediately.

HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?

  • Shipping is always free!

DO YOU SHIP TO ALASKA AND HAWAII?

  • At this time we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally.

HOW LONG CAN THE PACKAGE SIT OUTSIDE MY DOOR IF I AM NOT IN?

  • You should transfer frozen beef to the freezer immediately.
  • Package should sit at your door no longer than 8 hours before you transfer to the freezer.

IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR BULK ORDERS?

  • Hope All Natural Beef is already priced right. There are no discounts for bulk orders.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

  • We accept all major credit/debit cards.

CAN I SPLIT MY ORDER WITH A FRIEND?

  • Each order may only ship to one address.
  • You may not resell Hope All Natural Beef.
